GaruDa Purana states,
pati dharma pati sargah pati hi paramam tapah patiri pritim Apanne priiyante sarva devata
"A chaste woman always thinks that pleasing her spiritually situated husband is her heavenly pleasure, utmost duty, and greatest austerity. If her husband is pleased (as Kulottama, Vishnu personified), she thinks the Supreme lord and all the demigods are pleased. The Supreme Lord includes all the devatas (demigods)."
The above Verse balances the responsibility of both Male and Female - It Expects Husband to be Spiritual
hence becoming eligible for Spiritual Service by Wife

Parama Ekadasi, the Ekdasi that occurs during the dark fortnight of the extra, leap-year month, from the Skanda Purana.
